Message from the Dean

deanThank you for visiting the School of Professional Programs website to learn more about our programs. Our school's programs are designed with the career interests and practical needs of adult learners in mind. Whether you are interested in completing an undergraduate degree, completing one of our professional certificate programs, or taking advantage of our non-credit programs, the School of Professional Programs offers a quality education based on the proven areas of expertise within Marist College.

During your visit to our website, I urge you to explore our Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies Degree Program. This program is designed to provide adult learners the opportunity to complete their undergraduate studies with the flexibility necessary to balance that process with existing personal and professional responsibilities. We offer a variety of areas of concentrations, all of which are designed to help adult learners acquire the skills and tools needed to achieve their career objectives. For example, our Leadership and Communications concentrations foster the development of leadership insights that are critical for success in any career path.

The School of Professional Programs is developing new initiatives each year to serve the unique needs of adult learners. We recognize the rich knowledge and experiences that adult learners bring to their studies. I am certain that you will want to learn more about our Prior Learning Program as it offers adult learners the possibility to receive credit from past experiences as they earn their degrees. I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity: you deserve the recognition and the credit.

Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how our programs can help you achieve your career goals. We look forward to hearing from you!
